Wrecks is finally having solid poop again. We are happy to see that and put him on regular dog food again. Last week we had to feed him a special a/d prescription dog food with mega doses of nutrients. For the last 3 days I have been cooking chicken and rice for him as a transition food. We ordered a special herbal remedy for distemper to hopefully help him get through it. I am skeptical but will try anything rather than nothing at this point. We really want him to survive. I am concerned because he has been fairly aggressive lately...biting me and my daughter. I left a message for the vet earlier and hope his recent increase in "activity" is not a sign that it is getting to his brain and spinal cord. If that is the case they will recommend putting him down as well.
